Photography became an obsession years ago and since my start in photography I know I've taken over a half a million photos. I know this because I have 2 cameras nearing the end of their shutter life with about 250,000 photos taken on each camera that I purchased brand new. With that being said, I photographed my very first roll of pro 35mm film this month. I took these photos with a manual focus lens, with a roll of black and white film, and I kept looking at the back of the camera to verify I was using it correctly only to see no screen. No verification. And a surprise waiting to be processed. It was odd and incredible all at the same time. With only 36 photos on a roll, I noticed how selective you have to be with film.
